Conference Venue
The symposium will take place on the EPFL campus, at the Forum Rolex, Rolex Learning Center on the EPFL campus.
EPFL is Europe’s most cosmopolitan technical university. It welcomes students, professors and collaborators of more than 120 nationalities. EPFL has both a Swiss and international vocation and focuses on three missions: teaching, research and innovation.
The talks can also be followed online. Please note that the program is planned based on the Europe/Berlin time zone. Please take your time zone into consideration when planning your attendance.

Close to EPFL Campus
We recommend staying at the Starling Hotel or Swisstech Hotel as they are on campus and you can get a discount. Note that the number of rooms is limited.

Travel Information
Getting to Lausanne
From Geneva airport: train to Lausanne takes about 45 minutes.
From Zurich airport: train to Lausanne takes about 2.5 hours.
There are also some direct trains from Paris (about 4 hours) and Milan (about 4 hours).
Getting to EPFL campus
Take the Metro M1 either from Renens train station or Lausanne-Flon, and get off at “EPFL”. Metros run every 5-10 minutes.
Note that if you are staying at a hotel in Lausanne, you get a Lausanne Transport Card. With this card, you can freely use all public transport (bus, train, metro) in Lausanne and its surroundings during your stay.
